Nothing reminds me of home more than side-of-the-road boiled peanut vendors. There are so many produce stands on the drive back to my hometown that I don’t know how any of them stay in business. Hot boiled peanuts are my favorite treat, but other yum yums include tomatoes, peaches, and canned goods such as jellies and marmalades. You can tell a really good Panhandle Produce Stand by its old, old sign and lack of grass on the dirt parking lot.
