While having a cocktail with a TEDster friend of mine, I was reintroduced to my love of Benjamin Zander’s TED Talk about classical music. Zander is such a perfect example of passion, dynamism, and joy. I asked myself, “What makes me feel the same way Zander feels during this TED Talk?” I narrowed down my greatest passions in the world to a list of five:
- Volunteering for a cause I feel is worthy
- Leading a group of people to success
- Creating (especially writing, crafting speeches, making visual presentations)
- Presenting in front of an audience in order to share something I love
- Literature (my favorites are Cormac McCarthy, Philip Roth, James Joyce)
