Carol Kinsey Goman, PhD. gives two tips for “faking” charisma.  I really like the both ideas.  The first, “The Method,” involves remembering a time when you were feeling successful, confident, and charismatic.  This tip can definitely work before delivering a presentation, especially to help you overcome those public speaking nerves.  The second option is all about powerful posture.  Nonverbal communication is such an important element of charisma, and I love the research this video includes to prove it.  ”Powerful posture” is defined, and if you hold this powerful posture for two minutes, you’ll be ready to show off your charisma in your next presentation.
