I was a bit confused about the set-up and rating system. For example, why are books about “content” being graded or scored based upon whether or not they talk about delivery? Why are books about “delivery” examined for visual design principles? I think perhaps there should be different criteria based upon the three legs of the presentation stool – one set of standards for content-related books, one for delivery, and one for visual design.
Do you agree with the list? What are your favorite books on presentations?
The rating system seems far from perfect… but… it’s a great collection of books. And, a good reminder that I need to read more of them, and re-read the ones I’ve already read. So, a great resource (regardless of the rankings).
Thanks, Alex
Hey Steve, I agree with you! The resource is excellent… the rankings are questionable. Thanks for stopping by, Alex
