Boring Presenting: A PCP Perspective

What I like most about public speaking and presentation is that – like most other things in life – the hard work that you put into it directly impacts the results.  A boring presenter is one who focuses more on him or herself than the audience.  This person cares little about audience needs and prepares in the wrong way… or not at all.

Today in class, I asked two separate groups of students to write down every word or phrase they associated with a “boring” presentation.  Here is what they came up with:
